Ambassador Alain Gaschen joined Finance Secretary Dominguez and BOC commissioner Guerrero at the 118th Anniversary of the Bureau of Customs, where he also witnessed a demonstration of the fuel testing under the government's Fuel Marking program. The aim of the program is to plug leakages in tax collection caused by fuel smuggling and fraud.
The Fuel Marking program is implemented by the two Swiss companies SGS Philippines and SICPA S.A.
