Trade Promotion Organic Cotton Mali, Phase III

This consolidation phase continues to aim at alleviating poverty of small and medium sized cotton farmers through the development of certified organic and fair trade cotton value chains for the international market. The focus is on assuring the economic and institutional viability of the program. This shall be achieved by improving the market orientation of the organic value chain development, by strengthening portfolio and business management of the partner institutions, and by shaping a conducive environment for the development of the organic sector.
