This performance will feature the premiere of two new works for solo drum set by composer Sarah Weaver along with a selection of acoustic works that are from the vast solo repertoire Mr. Hemingway has developed over the past 40 years. His solo performances and recordings are renowned for the development and innovation of nuanced musical content for an instrument whose previous history is primary rooted in showmanship and physical virtousity.
