A new springboard for Korean biopharmaceutical companies to enter Swiss and European markets

Basel Area Business & Innovation and Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association(KPMBA) signed a domain partnership agreement.

Basel Area Business & Innovation and Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-Pharma Manufacturers Association(KPMBA) signed a domain partnership agreement at the Embassy of Switzerland on 24 January.

The three-year agreement aims to encourage Korean biopharma companies to advance into Switzerland and Europe by offering supports in terms of networking with global pharma/biotech companies, startups and universities/institutions, finding buyers for raw materials and finished drugs as well as offering working space at Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area. The signing also includes support for the Korean companies in establishing local corporations and offices and a domain sponsorship for BaseLaunch.

The participating companies include: Yuhan CorporationIldong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Hanmi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Chong Kun Dang pharmaceutical Corp. and Daewoong Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd.
