Aiming to stimulate exchanges between Japan and Switzerland, and deepen the mutual understanding in the architectural field, the newly founded "Japan Swiss Architectural Association (JSAA)" presents their first exhibition and lecture about Christ & Gantenbein, an architectural office based in Basel. Using models and photos of the architectural works, this exhibition introduces Christ & Gantenbein’s methodology, and bridges the “old” and the “new” in the historical urban context, like their remodelling of both the Swiss National Museum and the Kunstmuseum Basel, which they won through competitions.
