Jointly organized by the Kunstmuseum Basel and the National Art Center in Tokyo, this Leiko Ikemura solo exhibition will first take place in Tokyo, then in Basel (in May 2019). Exploring a wide range of media including painting, sculpture, drawing, watercolour painting, printmaking, photography, and video, Japanese and Swiss artist Ikemura depicts various aspects of creation and change as well as the latent potential for these things. The exhibition is made up of approximately 210 works in 16 installations.
