Seventy years after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948, the work of Swiss photographer Walter Bosshard, curated by Gayatri Sinha and Peter Pfrunder, sheds new light on the Independence movement, the salt march in 1930 and the personality of its leader.
Co-produced by Fotostiftung Schweiz (Winterthur / Zurich) and Critical Collective (Delhi) supported by the Consulate General of Switzerland in Mumbai, on occasion of the 70th anniversary of Swiss – Indian Friendship Treaty.
