The only twenty-two-year-old Swiss baritone is one of the most gifted representatives of the young singer generation. At the age of eighteen he made his debut at the Bremerhaven Theater in Sir Peter Maxwell Davies's opera Kommilitonen! Young Blood. The Swiss Public Television has produced a documentary about the young singer with the title A Prodigy Grows Up - Aeneas Humm on the Road to a World Carreer, which sparked international interest. In May he completed his bachelor studies at Krisztina Laki at the Bremen College of Music. From September, he continues his preparation to become a singer and opera singer at the masters program of the world-famous Juilliard School in New York.
Judit Polgár was born in Budapest to a family of musicians. He graduated from the Zurich Academy of Music, then she studied piano accompaniment and at the Karlsruhe College of Music as well. She graduated with distinction.
The young piano accompanist, a staple of international festivals and opera houses, teacher of the Kalaidos Fachhochschule Zürichis, has won several competitions, chorus master of many opera and opereta productions.
The specialties of the concert are the songs of Swiss composer Othmar Schoeck and Viktor Ullmann, a composer killed in Auschwitz.
The duo of Aeneas Humm and Judit Polgár made its debut in September of 2016 to critical acclaim at the Old Academy of Music. Their debut album will be released in September 2017 at the Rondeau Production record label.
