German Swiss International School Celebrates 50 years

German Swiss International School-Accra is celebrating its 50th anniversary on 17th and 18th of June 2016

The German-Swiss International School (GSIS) is among the oldest international schools in Accra, Ghana. It was founded in 1966 as a Swiss school – the Ramseyer Memorial School (RMS). It remained a Swiss-financed international school until 2012, when the German government took over its financing.

The celebrations will be marked with an Open Day on June 17, campfire with Ghanaian music, a charity run as well as a ball on June 18.
