The Swiss Vector String Quartett was established in 2013 by members of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and consists of the violinists Denitza Kucera and Reiko Koi, the violist Bernd Haag and the cellist Sebastian Diezig. Hand in hand with standard repertoire, the Vector Quartett made a name for itself by premiering and performing new and seldom played chamber music works, such as the String Quartets No.1 and 2 by Swiss maverick Othmar Schoeck, recently performed at the Lucerne Chamber Music Festival.
Praised for its energy and color palette, the Vector Quartett is a prominent force at the music festivals in Luzern, Zürich, Engelberg, Fribourg and Murten. The quartet has not only earned itself a regional reputation, but has also become internationally active since last year.

For the first time and with the support of Pro Helvetia, Schweizer Kulturstiftung,  the Vector Quartett will be performing in Taiwan with three scheduled concerts as the following:

  • Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the National Concert Hall in Taipei (postponed due to new coronavirus)
  • Sunday, February 23, 2020 at the Music Hall in Kaohsiung (postponed due to new coronavirus)
  • Monday, February 24, 2020 at the University of Technology in Tainan (postponed due to new coronavirus)
