The Ambassador of Switzerland, Mr Thomas Kupfer, Chairman Tee Tua Ba of the Singapore Red Cross Society and Mr Jeremy England, Head of the regional Delegation of the ICRC (International Committee of the Red Cross) welcomed guests, including Ambassadors and Leaders of the South East Asian National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to the inauguration of the exhibition “War from the Victim’s Perspective, Photographs by Jean Mohr”. This exhibition marks the 150th anniversary of the ICRC, 150 years of humanitarian action by the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Societies and the signing of the First Geneva Convention. The event took place at the International Involvement Hub (12Hub) at Atrium@Orchard, where the exhibition was staged until Sunday 30th March.

This exhibition was produced by the Musèe de l’Elysèe in Lausanne, with the support of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and was presented in Singapore in partnership with the Singapore Red Cross Society.  The pictures are being circulated around the world via the network of Swiss Embassies and will next be featured in Kuala Lumpur.
