The Swiss Business Hub China of the Swiss Embassy in Beijing, in cooperation with Switzerland Global Enterprise (S-GE), will operate and manage the Swiss Pavilion at the 27th China Beauty Expo in Shanghai. The 66 square meters Swiss Pavilion at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre will feature a number of well-known Swiss brands in the areas of skin care, oral care and household cleaning.

Sophie de Quay China tour hits May 2023

In May, the Swiss electropop duo Sophie de Quay kicks off their 2023 China tour at the invitation of the Embassy and Consulates General of Switzerland in China. It is the first time that Swiss musicians travel from Switzerland to China for concerts after three years of pandemic.

Swiss documentarian Jacqueline Zünd frequents the distant but intimate lives of people from around the world – the insomniacs, the aged and the children – embracing their delights and disappointments, regrets and hopes, and other contrasting sensations. As these people wander along their paths of ritual, befittingly or unfittingly, they understand life anew with wisdom, dignity and vitality. Zünd has been a critically acclaimed multi-award winning filmmaker since her debut. Her works have participated in prominent festivals including the Berlin (Germany), Locarno (Switzerland), Moscow (Russia) International Film Festivals, Visions du Réel (Nyon, Switzerland) and DOK Leipzig (Germany) amongst others.
