Foofwa Imobilité will illuminate China with his famous piece "Histoires Condansées", which charts the history of dance through a one-man lecture-performance. Starting with a glimpse of pre-20th century dance, he then outlines the important aspects that shaped the artform over time.
A dancer with the Stuttgart Ballet and Merce Cunningham Dance Company, Foofwa started his career as a choreographer in 1998 in New York before founding the Neopost Foofwa Company in Geneva in 2000.
